The Governing Body demands strict obedience from eight million plus Jehovah's Witnesses today. Their self proclaimed authority spans almost two centuries, with bold reminders that they are 'god's mouthpiece' and that they alone receive instructions directly from Jesus Christ. With a long history of changing doctrines, mistakes and ever changing policies… they then say, in print, that “Jesus never said we would be perfect…” We have some questions: Are they inspired or infallible? Should we obey their authority?
